Crossroads Angel, LLC operates the CrossroadsAngel.com, MusicSupportNet.com, and VirtualRoadie.com websites. Ethical and trustworthy business operations are very important to the Crossroads Angel mission. We have created a privacy policy that balances privacy needs with the functions of a market directory. We provide our subscribers with a number of privacy and anonymity enhancing options accessible through their profile management functions. We urge all users to investigate those functions and customize their privacy settings.
Crossroads Angel will occasionally revise its privacy policy as it develops the features of its website(s). Crossroads Angel will make reasonable efforts to inform users of any change, but the spirit of this policy will be maintained

Privacy setting on profile
Your user profile contains information about you that you may want to share with others. The list of privacy settings for your profile includes options to hide certain contact information. Other options allow you to specify how much additional information you share with connections and profile viewers.
Protecting the privacy of your profile is your responsibility. We strongly caution you not to share or place sensitive information in your profile such as: social security numbers, credit card numbers, or driver's license numbers.
We may use your profile information and your usage of our site to analyze how we may better personalize our services for you.
Any information you choose to display on the web site, including your profile, will be viewable by other members and non-members.
Email opt-in
By default, Crossroads Angel will only send you critical service information, account and subscription information, and e-mail from profile viewers who use the "Contact Me" button and form function. You may opt in to marketing and less important administrative messages using a versatile and customizable set of rules.
Email header information for emails you send through our systems may be stored so that we may better understand our network "graph" (who is connecting and interacting with who), but we will not store subject or body text.
Anonymity setting on reviews
To balance the need for anonymity in certain situations with the ability to promote members' services and products, registered members are allowed to use an alias when leaving a review. Crossroads Angel will not provide registered and unregistered website users a method to trace back from an alias to the reviewers profile. The reviewer may change aliases, but all anonymous reviews from that user will show the new alias. Users are cautioned to protect their aliases and not inadvertently provide information that will lead another user to their profile.
Crossroads Angel administrators will be able to identify a reviewer through their alias so that we may map the social graph in order to improve services for all users. Crossroads Angel administrators will also use their knowledge of a member's alias to monitor and react to terms of use violations.
Information shared by connections
When you setup a connection to another Crossroads Angel member, or another member sets up a connection to you, you will be given the option to describe what notifications you want to share with them, and what notifications you want to see of theirs. Please spend time setting up your default connection options, and in reacting to other members' requests for a connection to avoid an issue with receiving too many notifications.
Updating or removing user information
You may choose to correct or update the information you have submitted to us by editing your profile or account information. If you request to have your information removed, Crossroads Angel will remove it from its viewable directory, though it may continue to persist for analytical purposes and on back-up media.
Groups
Groups are associations of people and content that can be shared and discussed within the network. In many cases the groups we choose to connect with help define our personality, hobbies, favorite artists, current events we are passionate about, and organizations we belong to. The creator of a group may choose to make the group open to everyone within the Crossroads Angel network, restrict membership to a specific group of people they choose, or allow potential members to apply.
Search
All search results in Crossroads Angel are generated for you based not only on what is popular, but also on what interests you have based on your profile, groups you connect to, and who your connections connect to. Advertising results are also designed to be most relevant to you, and be separated from your search results. Search results may link to other locations within the Crossroads Angel network or websites on the Internet. Data about searches and search results may be maintained by Crossroads Angel to help in continually improving the service.
Use of Marketing Services and Features, and Promotional Goods
When you use a coupon or discount, give away promotional goods or services, or market your services using Crossroads Angel services and website features, we may track the date, location, and identity of the recipients. We may provide this information to you for your marketing purposes. We may use this information to identify new marketing opportunities for Crossroads Angel. We may provide aggregates of this information to other marketing partners, but only after filtering name and contact information so that individual users cannot be identified.
Profile information that is viewable by a registered or unregistered website user, including personally identifiable contact information, may be provided to our marketing providers.
Cookies
Crossroads Angel uses cookies to administer its website and provide a more tailored and user-friendly service to you. For example, we may use cookies to count the number of unique computers accessing our website.
